B E A Utiful.... And that's an understatement
The Scene
Ellicottville NY is filled with rich history, and beautiful landscapes! There are so many different places in and outside of the village, that are just epic photo backgrounds. THIS is why it was such a perfect choice for Josh to propose to his future wife Katie! Up on this hill with beautiful rolling hills in the distance was the place to be!
When Josh reached out to us with his plan to propose and wanted to know of some great spots, we couldn't have been any more excited to find thee spot for him! Planning begins and we go out site seeing to find his perfect location, capture some images and send them to him so he can ultimately pick where he wanted this special moment to be. Before we knew it, the big day was approaching, and so eager and excited, Josh asked us to come a day early because he was so excited to propose to the love of his life after being together 5 amazing years! What was promised to be a fun vacation for the two of them was about to become a special moment they both will look back on for the rest of their lives.
To set the scene, we arrived early at the hill. It was just us. YESSSS! We walked around to see where we can capture amazing views behind the two of them. We got our drone ready to capture the video of this amazing moment. We had to play it off like we were just around taking photos so Katie did not get suspicious. When they arrived, it was a bit snowy and wet. (She was not looking forward to getting out in the mess) Josh and her then walked to the path "we created" to look like that was the way to go. And we marked the spot for him and he knew what to look for!
We get a bit closer.....
Josh does the planned signal....OMG...Now the adrenaline is flowing and its time....And BAM he drops to his knee and asks the question. In pure shock and excitement she gets down and kisses him so many times! WOW.....What a sight to see.
After the shock and yes, she realizes we are there to capture this moment and was in aw! Then we captured some great candid in the moment shots! SCORE!!!
After we got some great shots there, we proceeded to a separate, planned location to capture some freshly engaged pics!
